After a prolonged hiatus because of the pandemic, we are delighted that our regulatory and Responsible Distribution Spring Workshops will once again welcome attendees in person next month.
Registration is open for each of the upcoming training sessions – and, as well as benefitting from all the guidance and networking on offer, you will also enjoy significant savings by attending both.
These Spring Workshops will take place over three days, from March 8-10, and provide the latest insight, analysis, and guidance on the most pressing issues affecting your business. The regulatory workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 8, with the Responsible Distribution workshop taking place Wednesday, March 9, and Thursday, March 10
Attendees will experience a full program explaining how best to navigate today’s challenging regulatory landscape and how to elevate your environmental, health, safety, and security standards through our Responsible Distribution program resources.
Learn from industry and government experts at the Regulatory Workshop on the opening day to get a firm grip on all the everchanging issues currently facing the chemical distribution industry.
Regulatory enforcement is really ramping up right now, so we are giving our members an overview of everything they’ll need to look out for from the various agencies and to make sure they have all the right tools to be in compliance.
This year, rather than focusing on one specific topic, NACD has expanded the program to cover an entire gamut of important areas for a comprehensive snapshot of the shifting regulatory landscape.
For example, there will be discussions on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), facility and environmental issues, and process safety management – all of which are currently seeing a lot of new enforcement activity.
Then, starting March 9, industry experts, veteran Code Coordinators, and senior management representatives will be exploring Responsible Distribution best practices and the topics that have been frequent non-conformances during the current cycle.
As always, there will be a comprehensive Responsible Distribution 101 introductory session to help bring those new to the program up to speed and familiarize them with NACD’s mandatory third-party verified environmental, health, safety, and security program.
Maintaining a culture of safety will be a key theme, as will continuous improvement and developing important supply chain partnerships.
This will also be your first opportunity to get a sneak peek into what we’ve got planned beyond the 7th Cycle and what to expect with the next iteration of Responsible Distribution starting in 2023.
These workshops always prove popular and are ideal for anyone from Code Coordinators to senior management.
So, what are you waiting for? Join us in Arlington, VA, at our new headquarters in March for what promises to be a really enlightening few days.
Remember, there are significant savings to be made if you register for both workshops. To secure your place or to find out more information, visit https://www.acd-chem.com/education-meetings/meetings/2024-spring-regulatory-and-responsible-distribution-workshops/.
