Working closely together and supporting worthy causes is a key pillar of ACD’s Responsible Distribution program – and indeed, is central to the organization’s ethos.
You can’t underestimate the positive effects of lending help in your neighborhoods and supporting others. Whether it’s providing food and clothing for those in need, volunteering and helping children at local schools and sports teams, or raising funds for animal shelters and other important initiatives, it’s a hugely rewarding experience.
Community outreach is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your company’s commitment and dedication to corporate social responsibility. These initiatives are also perfect for teambuilding, networking, and collaboration within your businesses.
We’re proud so many of our members are already actively engaged with their communities, contributing their time to good causes, building long-lasting relationships, and showcasing the important role they play in the supply chain on a day-to-day basis.

ACD aims to set a standard for good community outreach programs and processes for our membership. Together, we’ve worked with some fantastic local charities over the past few years at our Annual Meeting on everything from packing food parcels to stuffing teddy bears.
And, the ACD team has been working hard in our local area of Arlington, VA to give something back. Just last week, we united in a battle against hunger with an "East Wing vs. West Wing" food drive competition. Both sides of our office gathered donations for the local nonprofit, Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). Remarkably, their unwavering generosity resulted in a tie, showcasing the immense heart within our organization.
As we navigate the holiday season, let's carry forward this spirit of community engagement. Let's continue fostering meaningful connections, supporting causes, and making a tangible impact in the lives of those around us.
