Throughout the year, the NACD team heads across the country to attend a number of key industry events hosted either by other trade associations or chemical companies themselves.
It’s an opportunity for us to spread the word about the great work NACD does, raise awareness about the most pressing issues affecting chemical distribution and their supply chain partners, and to meet both existing and potential members face to face.
We are working hard to make new connections and introduce chemical distributors to the fantastic range of resources and benefits that NACD has to offer.
Going to events like this really pays dividends to extend our reach as we’re able to meet with employees from some of our member companies who maybe haven’t previously had much involvement with NACD.
It’s so important we meet with representatives throughout the supply chain to get a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. We want to get in front of people and raise awareness about the important work done by the association and to make sure they know we’re always on hand as a support and resource.
We’ve attended four major events so far this year, including The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) International Petrochemical Conference and the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists’ (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day – and we’ve got several more scheduled in the months ahead, so be sure to pay attention to our social media and weekly e-newsletters for updates. Have an event you think NACD should be at? Let us know!
In the meantime, we also hope to catch up with many of you at NACD’s ChemEdge Conference and Trade Show from August 16-18. Come meet the team, network with like-minded companies, and enjoy a packed program of speakers, social events, and some lively discussion.
It’s a great opportunity to see first-hand the many resources and benefits we have to offer our membership.
