Join the ACD team and hundreds of suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers in La Quinta, California, for four days of enriching content delivered by top speakers and industry experts. Attendees can expect insightful keynotes, engaging discussions, valuable talking points, and the chance to build essential connections with industry leaders and decision-makers.

Set against the stunning Santa Rosa Mountains in the Coachella Valley, the Annual Meeting from November 11-14, 2024, offers a valuable opportunity to reflect on the past year and prepare for what lies ahead.

It’s our highest attended event each year for good reason! Here are five compelling reasons you won’t want to miss it:

  1. Explore industry trends and opportunities. Bringing everyone together in one room creates a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and tackle the biggest challenges affecting our industry. This is the perfect forum for senior executives to talk through trends, forecasts, best practices, and performance – leaving them with actionable insights that can significantly impact their businesses. This year’s theme, “Connecting the Experts our World Depends on”, will delve into critical topics such as the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it’s going to be a gamechanger for chemical distribution; crisis communication and conveying the right messaging, every time; the secrets to people management and how to develop a strong, reliable team ethic; and the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

  1. Top level speakers. Each November, our carefully curated program pinpoints the topics that matters most to our members. This year, attendees will hear from renowned generational expert, Jason Dorsey – who’s been behind over 120 research studies about generational differences and how people of all ages and skillsets can work together more effectively. Consultant Gene Marks, a familiar face at ACD events, will be dissecting the potential of AI and how it could benefit your bottom line. Additional highlights include presentations from HBCU Week Foundation’s Ashley Christopher on why diversity matters; entrepreneur, Marcus Lemonis, sharing his insights on the three P’s: People, Process, and Profit, and ITR Economics’ Connor Lokar offering strategies to prepare for the anticipated economic upturn in 2025. Lastly, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson will provide insights on the election outcomes and a behind-the-scenes look at the political landscape.

  1. High-level networking. The Annual Meeting brings together ACD member companies of all types, sizes, and specialties fostering lively discussions and connections. It’s the perfect opportunity to build -lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, share ideas overcome challenges, and discuss solutions. While we have a full agenda this year, there will still be ample time to network at the various receptions, social activities, and the Business Marketplace where companies showcase their services. From the relaxed evening receptions to the golf tournament, local tours, and our popular community service event, the Annual Meeting provides plenty of time to interact, engage, and learn.

  1. Community outreach. ACD members are encouraged to make a difference in their local communities and help those less fortunate, and we’re always proud to hear so many stories about your collective efforts and the great work you’re doing in this area. The Annual Meeting is not only a chance for attendees to come together and talk business, but it also provides an opportunity to unite in give back. This year, we’ll be working within teams and compete in a series of themed mini games to earn supplies to create Superhero Cape Kits for children battling illnesses in local hospitals and the Ronald McDonald House. The Community Service Event promises to be an enjoyable and inspiring afternoon, full of fun and meaningful memories. Join us for a few hours and you can feel like a superhero too!

  1. Hear what we’ve been up to. It’s certainly been a busy year for the Alliance and, just as the industry is constantly evolving, we’re working hard to adapt and change too. During the Annual Meeting you’ll be able to meet our team and hear about everything we’re working on and the various ways we’re representing you, our members. Learn all about the recent launch of our new wholly owned LLC, ASK Distribution Consulting, and its focus on auditing, safety, and knowledge; the progress we’ve been making since our rebrand this time last year; and how we’re focused on the betterment of the industry. Our goal is to provide the education and training necessary to prepare the future workforce, help you navigate the latest regulations, and offer the support and solutions you need for operational success.
