ChemEdge 2024: Your Gateway to Expert Knowledge and Best Practices

The value of attending an event like the ChemEdge 2024 Trade Show and Conference is immeasurable. Happening in just a few weeks, this unique event is ideal for those in operations and regulatory roles, and provides a fantastic forum to share ideas, knowledge, and best practice – while also hearing from a selection of handpicked speakers and industry experts.

And there’s still a chance to get one of the last few remaining places by visiting our website here!

Those of you who can join us at ChemEdge from August 21-23 in Indianapolis, Indiana, can expect to walk away with invaluable insight and key takeaways on topics ranging from elevating your employee engagement to effective product stewardship.

Even better? We’ve split this year’s event into two distinct tracks to offer an agenda tailored to your individual interests. Attendees will be offered a choice of presentations focused on either regulation or operations.

We’re also excited to have added our new “Innovation Stage” to the popular EXPO exhibition area, which will be open throughout the meeting. In addition to the usual mix of manned booths showcasing products and services, the new presentation area will allow companies to carry out demonstrations to a larger audience for the first time ever.

As always, ChemEdge will be packed with presentations that we hope will inform and inspire – and there will be all the usual social and networking opportunities to enjoy too.

We’re looking forward to welcoming leading speakers including best-selling author and Founder of ArriveAtHappy.com, Tia Graham, who will offer leadership tips and advice on improving your team’s motivation and morale. Kelly Gilroy, Vice President of Sustainable & Natural Products at Univar Solutions, will also be walking us through real-world examples of the many new customer opportunities arising from changing regulatory and sustainability reporting requirements.

Peter Downing of Environment & Safety Solutions will be looking at how to evaluate the hazards on a safety data sheet, while CITCO Water’s Rick Parks will highlight the company’s hugely successful near miss program and offer tips on how to improve workplace safety.

Among the many other highlights will be a session hosted by Russell Ide, Director of Environmental Services at Valley Solvents & Chemicals, who will be examining real U.S. Environmental Protection Agency enforcement cases and considerations when dealing with hazardous waste.

Kathryne Newton, Professor of Supply Chain and Sales Engineering Technology, School of Engineering Technology at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, will also be leading two sessions – one on recruiting, onboarding, and productivity; and another on how to ensure a high-performance workplace culture.

Rich Engler of Bergeson & Campbell, P.C., will also be conducting a thorough walkthrough of the Toxic Substances Control Act and the 8(a)(7) reporting requirements for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances.

And if that wasn’t enough, the ACD team will be running through all the latest legislative and regulatory trends and hosting a panel discussion to take a deep dive into the issues facing the industry.

“With everything that’s happening right now and all the new regulations coming out, this year’s ChemEdge really is going to be an unmissable event,” says Rachelle Alexander, ChemEdge Committee Chair and Vice President, Environment & Safety Solutions, Inc. “We’re really happy with the schedule this year and feel there’s plenty of value for everyone.”
