ACD is hitting the road! In just a few short weeks, our team will travel to Houston, Texas and Seattle, Washington for a series of Town Hall events to meet and interact with ACD members across the country.
At both events, I am excited to meet with local members to discuss the major issues currently affecting the chemical distribution industry and how ACD can help navigate challenges and contribute to our members’ success. At the end of each event there will also be an interactive Q&A session where you can ask me any and all the questions you would like.
Our Town Hall series will be a great opportunity for members to interact with other Alliance organizations, too. Our industry relies on collaboration and coordination between each part of the chemical distribution value chain, which ACD companies represent. From manufacturers and producers, to warehousers, transporters, and tollers, our members must work together to continuously provide value to their customers and supply chain partners. That’s a major reason why we are hosting these upcoming Town Hall meetings because they are a great way to foster connections and improve collaboration.
Currently, the chemical distribution industry is facing a range of regulatory and legislative challenges. From the ongoing failure to renew key trade programs to harmful new regulations, shipping uncertainty, and chemical security, our members are dealing with many roadblocks. Our goal is to provide a great space for organizations to come together to discuss these impactful issues and best practices on how to navigate some of these challenges.
These member-only events are designed to provide an informal setting outside of official meetings for members to engage with the rest of the ACD community in their own backyards. So please join us in June to kick-back, enjoy some nice refreshments on ACD, and get to know each other in a low-pressure environment.
The Houston Town Hall Happy Hour will take place on Monday, June 10th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. CT. Local members can join me and the ACD team at Karbach Brewing for a cold beer and good conversation on all things chemical distribution. In Washington, the Seattle Town Hall Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, June 12th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. PT. At the event, our Seattle-based members can come together to forge connections with fellow industry leaders over a delicious meal. To secure your spot on the list, make sure to register today!
