Annual Awards Mark Our Members' Achievements

As our virtual Annual Meeting draws to a close next week, we hope you’ll join us in congratulating the winners of the 2020 Responsible Distribution Excellence Award, Distributor of the Year, and Affiliate of the Year.

Social distancing rules may mean we’re unable to meet in-person, but fortunately, there’s little else that’s changing at this year’s event. We’ve been working hard to ensure you experience the same insight, commentary, and value you’ve come to expect.

Not only do we have a packed program lined up, with some fantastic presentations and speakers, but, as usual, we’ll be concluding the meeting by celebrating the achievements of your peers and colleagues.

These awards give us the perfect opportunity to praise the efforts of our members and showcase their successes.

We always get outstanding nominees, and we believe this year’s winners have really excelled.

We’re excited to be announcing the Distributor of the Year award, which recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond for the industry – particularly during the current pandemic.

The Affiliate of the Year plaque will also be presented to someone who has demonstrated their ability to help our member companies become even better and has greatly contributed to NACD’s efforts to support the industry.

And while we usually announce the recipient of the Responsible Distribution Excellence Award at ChemEdge in August, we decided to postpone the announcement until the Annual Meeting to allow for delays to verifications because of COVID-19. This accolade is presented to companies that have set the benchmark in demonstrating their commitment to our third-party-verified environmental, health, safety, and security program.

This year, there are actually two recipients – one is a Chemical Handler Affiliate and the other, a distributor.

It's always difficult to choose the winners, and this year is no exception – especially with so many of you having stepped up to the plate and achieved so many great things during these tough times.

Hopefully, this time next year, we'll all be together again, and we can invite them up on stage to give them the in-person recognition they deserve.

We’re really looking forward to seeing many familiar faces from our screens during the three-day event from November 10-12 and especially at the business meeting from 2:45 – 4:00 pm on the 12th. There’s still time to register to applaud these outstanding award recipients. Find out more at https://www.nacd.com/education-meetings/meetings/2024-annual-meeting/register-now/.
