NACD Kicks Off 2022 Annual Meeting

Arlington, VA – Today, a registration record was set as more than 670 members and Affiliates of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) convened in Coronado, California for the start of the Association’s 51st Annual Meeting. The event brings together chemical distribution industry leaders and their suppliers, customers, and colleagues to discuss ways to improve business performance, management skills, safety, security, and more.

This year’s Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for NACD and its members to collaborate on essential updates, best practices, and key strategies used throughout the industry and to celebrate significant milestones achieved amid unprecedented challenges.

NACD is honored to be joined this year by the 70th Secretary of the U.S. Department of State and former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Mike Pompeo, to discuss the ongoing challenges facing our nation and the opportunities these challenges present policymakers and businesses.

NACD is bringing together a lineup of diverse speakers and panelists to provide insight on issues central to the chemical distribution industry and to underscore how collaboration leads to legendary results. Some of these key sessions include:

  • Supply Chain in Crisis – The Latest Developments and How You Can Meet the Challenge with Eric R. Byer, President and CEO of NACD, and Mark Baxa, President and CEO of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. As NACD members continue to face high costs, escalating delays, and labor shortages, Byer and Baxa discuss how these ongoing disruptions and supply chain challenges continue to impact businesses and offer best practices to address these unique challenges.
  • Pick Up the Phone and Sell: How to Create Predictable Sales Growth in a Slowing Economy with Alex Goldfayn, CEO of the Revenue Growth Consultancy. As a revenue growth consultant, Goldfayn discusses one of the most effective, but often avoided, selling tool: the telephone. Goldfayn helps his clients add an average of 15 to 30 percent growth in sales annually by teaching them how to proactively communicate with confidence and optimism to help customers.
  • Harnessing Headwinds – Successfully Navigating Change and Adversity with Nichole Malachowski, U.S. Air Force (RET.). Business leaders across the nation must navigate a range of tests and failures, particularly during economic uncertainty. Malachowski discusses how to harness these headwinds to your business’ advantage and how with the right mindset can help your team achieve its goals.
