NACD Appoints Univar Solutions' Mark Fisher to Board of Directors

The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) approved Univar Solutions U.S. President Mark Fisher to serve on the association’s Board of Directors for a one-year appointment as Director-at-Large.

Fisher, who joined Univar Solutions in January 2018, has more than 15 years’ experience in strategic sales and operations in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and healthcare distribution sectors. He previously worked for Owens & Minor, McKesson Corporation, and AT&T, as well as served nine years in the U.S. Navy. Since joining Univar Solutions, Fisher has led the U.S. business by increasing the focus on sales force effectiveness and supply chain optimization. Fisher’s vast experience in a variety of disciplines and industries helps him bring a holistic vision to the organization. He has also instilled a customer-focused culture in the Univar Solutions U.S. team that allows the business to serve customers and suppliers by providing solutions to some of their most difficult challenges.
