Arlington, VA – Today, National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) President Eric R. Byer issued the following statement following President Biden’s appointment of Martin J. Oberman as Chairman of the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB).
“NACD congratulates Marty Oberman on his appointment as Chairman of the Surface Transportation Board. Mr. Oberman has a great depth of experience and is a proven leader. The chemical distribution industry welcomes the opportunity to work with Mr. Oberman and his colleagues on the Surface Transportation Board in the coming years to promote competition and modernize our nation’s freight rail policies.”
