Arlington, VA – The Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) and the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), effective February 21, 2025, to expand cooperation on issues impacting the supply chain, increase mutual awareness of legislative and regulatory issues, and enhance collaboration on respective services offered by both organizations.
After signing the MOU, Eric R. Byer, President and CEO of ACD, and Jay D. Strother, President and CEO of IWLA, released the following statements.
“Amid varying economic and regulatory challenges, ACD and IWLA share many of the same priorities when it comes to the safe and efficient distribution and supply chain management of critical chemical products,” said Byer. “This MOU underscores our commitment to upholding a higher level of coordination, support, and advocacy for our industries, our supply chain, our members, and our customers.”
“By improving the cooperation between IWLA and ACD, we can enhance safety throughout the chemical supply chain,” said Strother. “This MOU demonstrates our intent of working together to provide a higher level of information and service to our members.”
