The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) announced the winners of the 2017 Responsible Distribution Excellence Award today. This award is given to companies that demonstrate a sustained and rigorous commitment to NACD Responsible Distribution®, the association’s third-party-verified environmental, health, safety, and security program. This year’s award has two recipients: McCullough & Associates and Walsh & Associates.The co-recipients were announced at ChemEdge, the premier operation and management conference for the chemical distribution industry hosted annually by NACD, which this year broke attendance records with more than 400 conference-goers.

“We are proud to acknolowedge two outstanding companies that embody the ideals of Responsible Distribution for their commitment to environmental health, safety and security,” said NACD President Eric R. Our second recipient, Walsh & Associates, stood out for its dedication to NACD and the principles of Responsible Distribution, its exceptional senior management commitment and the company’s work with the broader chemical distribution industry.”

The Responsible Distribution Excellence Award has been presented since 2006 to nearly a dozen companies who exemplify the principles of Responsible Distribution. The award receipients are nominated by third-party verifiers and peers to earn this distinctive recognition. Company representatives join NACD leadership at the ChemEdge conference in August each year to receive the award in front of the community of their colleagues and to encourage other members of the association to learn from their best practices.
