NACD Congratulates New U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt on U.S. Senate Confirmation

Today, NACD issued the following statement on Scott Pruitt’s confirmation in the U.S. Senate as the new Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency:

“NACD congratulates Administrator Scott Pruitt on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate to lead the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. His efforts as the Attorney General of Oklahoma to fight unnecessary and burdensome regulations will serve him well as he works to shape our nation’s environmental policies. 

“We stand ready to work with him and his team to roll back regulations with little proven benefit so chemical distributors can invest more time and resources providing Americans with good-paying jobs while at the same keeping their employees and communities safe through their own environmental, health, safety, and security programs.”
