NACD Applauds Introduction of Regulatory Accountability ActToday, NACD President Eric R. Byer issued the following statement on the introduction of H.R. 5, the Regulatory Accountability Act, by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) in the U.S. House of Representatives. In December, NACD joined nearly 380 organizations in a letter of support to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) urging passage of this legislation. “Over the last decade, industries like chemical distribution have experienced a burdensome increase in federal regulations that have hampered their ability to create good-paying jobs. “NACD is pleased to see Rep. Goodlatte making regulatory reform a priority in the new Congress, and we urge lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to swiftly pass this legislation so hardworking Americans can focus on job creation and innovation.” ### © Copyright by National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) 1999 - 2017.
