Join NACD and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for a webinar on NFPA Code 30 – Flammable and Combustible Liquids, Wednesday, July 29 at 12:00 PM (ET). NFPA Code 30 is incorporated by reference into the Occupational Safety & Health Administration’s (OSHA) hazardous materials regulations and outlines how to safely store flammable and combustible liquids. Presenter Mike Marando, Senior Engineer, NFPA, will share how to navigate NFPA 30 for containers and tanks, how to establish Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQs) and sprinkler requirements, and how to approach emergency tank venting calculations and tank siting requirements. The webinar will also cover the most recent revisions to the 2021 edition of NFPA 30 and how to participate in the NFPA Standards Development process. Following the presentation, there will be 10 minutes of Q&A. A copy of the slides and a recording will be available to NACD members after the webinar.
