Emergencies can create a variety of hazards for workers in the impacted area. Preparing before an emergency incident plays a vital role in ensuring that employers and workers have the necessary equipment, know where to go, and know how to keep themselves safe when an emergency occurs.
In this course, we will provide information on preparing and training for emergencies and the hazards to be aware of when an emergency occurs. Additionally, this course will cover, in brief, NFPA Life Safety Code 101 and safe fire extinguisher use.
We explore advanced functions, work with named ranges, use database functions and resolve errors. This class is a terrific lead-in to the more advanced Data Analysis classes as well.
NACD is partnering with Strategic Partner, National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP), to offer this training. This course provides awareness-level training under OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.38 Emergency Actions Plans, 29 CFR 1910.39, Fire Prevention Plans, and the 1910 Subpart E Appendix; all participants will be issued 0.2 CEUs upon completion.
